I have tried to install packages into aws but when I connected it to apache. it was producing error then on further checking I discorvered that the packages I installed were not installed into proper directory where it was supposed to be located in so apache was producing error 500.

How can I install packages into the directory where apache would be able to use it?

Django application not working because of packages in aws [closed]

I am new to terraform and aws, all I want to do is launch an aws ec2 instance with elastic load balancer with terraform. I get some of the configuration examples from various sites but don't know what is right way to implement those configurations, what should be the folder structure and everything. I had done it using GUI of aws but not getting much help with terraform.

As per your requirement of creating Elastic Loadbalancer, using terraform. You will need to create the following resources. If you already have the EC2 instance created and just want to attach them to ELB.

 -  Register your existing instance to your Target Group

 -  The new instance created through ASG will auto-register to the ELB target group.

launching aws elb instace using terraform

I have deployed a Django app as a single instance Elastic Beanstalk environment without Elastic Load Balancer. The setup is Nginx + Gunicorn + Django. SSL is enabled for Nginx server.

I have added the host assigned by elastic beanstalk (....elasticbeanstalk.com) to ALLOWED_HOSTS in the settings file, and the app is accessible.

But some operations are failing and there are a lot of Invalid HTTP_HOST_HEADER errors in the log file. The header in majority of these errors are the Public IP of the EC2 instance.

Is it safe to add the EC2 Public IP to the allowed hosts ?

 If your application hosted on AWS and if there is any AWS Outage, How to detect the Outage early without eye ball monitoring. Any automation process or tool which we can use for the above ?

While we try launch aws emr in mumbai area, it receives terminated in five-6 seconds with the subsequent validation error.
