Create an empty folder on the local host machine and give the folder a name of your choice.

Go to Visual Studio Code and select the Explorer button. Then navigate to the Open Folder option to see the empty folder already created.

After opening the file, select the new file option to create a new file and name it index.html.

Now open the file, index.html, and paste the code.

Then create a new file, name the 404.html and enter the code associated with the 404.html file.

Now, right-click on an already created empty folder and choose to place it on a static website.

Sign-in is required to navigate the next process. So click on sign in and provide the certificate.

The pop-up then opens as you have successfully signed in and can close the page. So after this message, the user can simply close the page.

Now select the storage account since we are already signed in. Then select the storage account in the Visual Studio code window.

Now on the same screen of Visual Studio Code, pop-ups are opened as the installation is completed. Then choose the Browse to Website option to view the static website

Then after browsing the website option, it will navigate to the website from the created storage account. Then confirm the URL How to open it.

To create a website on Azure Portal, follow these steps:

Choose app services in the search bar Then, create the web page, enter the following details.

Subscriptions- which the user needs to use

Resource group-can used if the user has an existing one

Name – unique name to web application should be given

Publish, and Runtime stack, operating system – choose as per the requirement

Region – select the location from the drop-down

Windows plan – can use default one or can create new by using the options

SKU and Size – select the default size, or it can be selected from the requirements

Finally, review and create. Then a window appears like deployment is completed.

Choose on Go to resources to view the web app that was created.
