If we use Azure Bastion for connectivity, virtual machines do not require a public IP address, agent, or third-party software. Azure Base protects virtual machines from the outside world because it hides RDP / SSH ports by providing secure access to RDP / SSH.\

Azure Buzz follows the steps below when deploying as described in the following diagram:

Azure bastion hosts are migrated to the virtual network in virtual machines.

Using HTML5 browser user is connected to the Azure portal.

Users can select which virtual machines to connect to.

RDP/SSH session is opened in the browser with a single click in the Azure portal.

Azure VM does not use any public IP for connection.

Before learning how to create Azure boards, users must have an Azure subscription so that they can log in to the Azure portal with a valid certificate and create Azure Bastions.

Login into the Azure Portal using the below URL:

From the Azure portal home page, select + Create a resource.

In the Azure Marketplace search, search for Bastion and click enter to open the Bastion page:

On a Create a Bastion page, enter the details as below:

Enter the details of the new bastion as below:

Subscription: Select your subscription plan from the drop-down list.

Resource Group: Select the resource group in which you want to create the booze.

Name: Bastion Enter a unique name for example.

Virtual Network: Select a virtual network created in the location.

Public IP address: Select a public IP address from existing or new.

Public IP Address Name: Enter the name of the public IP address.

Select create new from the virtual network to create a new virtual network:

Click on OK from the create a virtual network:

In the subnet section, the name of the subnet should always start with Azure Bastion Subnet.

After specifying all the details and creating a new virtual network, select Review + Create from the page to verify the details, and then click Create:

Once the installation is complete, the user will see the message that the installation is running.

From the home page, check the newly created VM and open the virtual machine:

Select Connect from the virtual machine page:

Select Use bastion from the page The user will be asked to enter the username and password used to create a virtual machine, then click on the link:

This will open a virtual machine directly on the Azure portal.

RDP and SSH are integrated directly into the Azure portal and using a single click; Users can have a non-stop experience.

It uses HTML5 based web client, which helps to get RDP / SSH sessions over TLS on port 443, which helps secure access to the corporate firewall.

Public IP of Azure Virtual Machine is not required when using Bastion.

It is a full platform managed service, and it protects against zero-day usage using the tower and it is always up to date.

Users at Azure Base do not need to use any NSG because Azure Base connects to VM via private IP.

In conclusion, Azure Base allows users to connect to virtual machines via a private IP and provides built-in security due to RDP / SSH for connection. Due to the tower's seamless integration with other Azure services, users need to manage Azure bases with a single click.
