While using new_list = my_list, any modifications to new_list changes my_list every time. Why is this, and how can I clone or copy the list to prevent it?

After attempting it hard, I've not been capable of replica the entire folder structure(consisting of the parent folder and also all of the contents within the folder shape) to a destination.

I want to copy the entire folder structure starting from L1 till sample.txt

What I get at the destination is NOT the complete folder structure. In fact, I get L2\sample.txt at the destination. 

To copy the complete folder structure, including the parent folder, through the Command Prompt (cmd) in Windows, you can use the xcopy command. The xcopy command allows you to copy directories, subdirectories, and files from one location to another while preserving the folder structure.

Here's how you can use xcopy to copy the folder structure:

Let's say you want to copy the entire folder structure located in "C:\SourceFolder" to "D:\DestinationFolder":

xcopy C:\SourceFolder D:\DestinationFolder /E /I

Replace "C:\SourceFolder" with the path to the folder you want to copy, and "D:\DestinationFolder" with the path where you want to create the new folder structure.

Please be cautious when using xcopy, as it will overwrite files with the same name in the destination folder. Always double-check the source and destination paths before performing the copy operation. Additionally, be sure to have appropriate permissions to read from the source folder and write to the destination folder.
