Everything in Ruby is a class and an object, so here date is found with the help of date class, here daytime is a subclass of date because daytime is a subclass of date which allows us to easily get an hour, minute, second, and even our offset value. There is an error in the daytime that we cannot manage or simply say,  did not consider the leap element, which means it will not consider leap hours, leap minutes and leap seconds. 

Date Time can have many types of syntax. A syntax if we want to get the output up to the second and offset. In the syntax below we can see that we need the date module and at the time of date we are passing years, months, days, hours, and seconds. One good thing about this format is that we can also use fractions here.

 require 'date'
DateTime.new(year, month, day, hours, second) 

Date Time is a subclass of dates, we will need dates to use the date-time feature. 

An important point about date-time is that it will not handle or consider leap seconds, hours, minutes, and offsets. 

We will use new ones to create an object for Date Time. We can pass new arguments for dat time and the output will be in front of us. 

This is the most important and widely used function on Date Time. This feature makes it easy to do anything from one data format to another. 

First, we need the main module of Datetime, because each Datetime is a subclass of the date. 

Finally, inside the new function we pass some arguments comma-separated, these arguments are for the year, month, date, hour, minute, second, and offset. 

Finally, we print the output of the expression and we get the date value.

date = DateTime.new(2020,3,4,5,6,7)
puts "The date value is #{date}" 

The purse function allows us to convert the string date format, it may or may not be the format (we can read all available formats for Ruby date) and allows us to get the hour, minute, second, and even offset values, also using this function to get time zone Possible. 

First, we need the main module of Date-Time, because each Date Time is a subclass of the date. 

In the second step, we have passed the date string format in the function parse.  

In the next step, we get the value of an hour, minute, second, and offset values ​​in some variables. 

Finally, we are displaying the value of this variable.

This function will be used to convert the date format string to some RFC 2822 format. 

And in the final, we pass a string of date format in it and it will give the date as output from it.

dateoutput = DateTime.rfc2822('Sat, 3 Feb 2001 04:05:06 +0700')
puts dateoutput 

This is one of the most useful functions. It is used to convert a date format string to a Date Time object and we are allowed to operate all the dates in it to convert it to a Date Time object.

dateoutput1 = DateTime.strptime('2020-03-03T04:05:06+07:00', '%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S%z')
puts dateoutput1
dateoutput2 =DateTime.strptime('03-02-2020 04:05:06 PM', '%d-%m-%Y %I:%M:%S %p')
puts dateoutput2

Here we have used a total of four functions because they are all very similar in behavior. We used the function hour, minute, second, and offset in the data object which was created by passing the data as a value separated by commas as year, month, hour, minute second and offset value.

second = DateTime.new(2020,3,4,5,6,7).sec
offset = DateTime.new(2020,3,4,5,6,7).offset
puts "The hour value from the date attribute is #{hour}"
puts "The minute value from the date attribute is #{minute}"
puts "The second value from the date attribute is #{second}"
puts "The offset value from the date attribute is #{offset}"
