I have three microservices in same repository, how to import these services in JenkinsX and how to work in this use-case. 

How to import multiple microservices in Jenkins-X in same Repository

I set up the CI CD pipeline on GKE using JenkinsX. The build step is successful, but if I hit the staging URL, it shows me the page with 503 Service temporarily unavailable. I know that JenkinsX deploys the application behind nginx. So do I need to any configuration so that nginx can lookup the application?

I installed JX3 on EKS using terraform using the instructions in their documentation. However none of the secrets are being auto populated. jx admin logs shows the following:

error: failed to find hmac token from secret: could not find lighthouse hmac token lighthouse-hmac-token in namespace jx: secrets "lighthouse-hmac-token" not found

i'm working with Kubernetes and Jenkins-x, i need to create a devpod with customized property. In particular i need a timeoutSeconds for the livenessProbe differebt from the default one. I dont know how to customize this attribute before the pod is created so i'm trying to update it once it's running. I tried with

but it told me i cant update that property.

Do you have suggestions on how i can do this?

I'm trying to install Jenkins X on an existing Kubernetes cluster (GKE), using jx boot, but it always gives me the error trying to execute 'jx boot' from a non requirements repo

In fact, I have tried to use jx install, and it works, but this command is already marked as deprecated, but I see it's still the method to use on Jenkins X's GitHub page.

Then another detail ... I'm in fact creating the cluster using Terraform because I don't like the idea that Jenkins X creates the cluster for me. And I want to use Terraform to install Jenkins X as well but that would be another question. :)

So how to install using jx boot and what is a non requirements repo ?

Recently, I tried to setup Jenkins X on a kubernetes cluster. However there exists some problem during installation.

There are several options in jx create cluster such as aks(create with AKS), aws(create with AWS), minikube(create with Minikube) and etc.

However there is no option which create a cluster with local kubernetes cluster. I want to setup Jenkins X with my own cluster.

How can I setup Jenkins-x on local kubernetes cluster?

We have installed Jenkins X on a Kubernetes cluster, but are uncertain about how one goes about upgrading the plugins. I see a jx command for upgrading the platform; are the plugins used for Jenkins X tied to the platform version? If that is the case, how does one add plugins other than the standard loadout?

I got a problem on Azure that the Nexus didn't had enough disk space. Nexus failed to start due to this problem so I extended the default PVC jenkins-x-nexus from 8GB to 20GB. This extension was successful and everything is just running file.

But if I now want to upgrade my jx platform (jx upgrade platform) I'm getting the following error:

The PersistentVolumeClaim "jenkins-x-nexus" is invalid: spec.resources.requests.storage: Forbidden: field can not be less than previous value'

I have been searching for ages for a community driven helm chart for Jenkins-X. I can find them for regular jenkins, but I need to setup Jenkins-x, and I just can't seem to find any information,

I've used the "jx create spring -d web -d actuator" command to create a simple Spring java application but I can't figure out how I'd change the promotion strategy from Auto to Manual. Can't see how it's being set in the environment configuration.

You can use jx edit env to edit your Environment configurations. Or you can use kubectl to edit env staging if you want and edit the custom resource directly.

How do I change a promotion strategy in one of my Jenkins X environments?

I'd like to know how to add annotations on all preview ingress services definition generated for each jx preview to configure it.

I'm having issues with either header forward or header stripping by nginx. The server behind the preview ingress service is not receiving some headers requests.

I'm using Jenkins X for microservice build / deployment. In each environment there are shared secrets used across microservices (client keys etc) which are injected into deployment.yaml as environment variables using valueFrom and secretKeyRef. This works well in Production and Staging where the namespaces are well know, but since preview generates a new namespace each time, these secrets will no exist. Is there a way to copy secrets from another, known, namespace, or a better approach?

Our team is developing Kafka Connect Source Connector-plugins.

Do you have any ideas on how to install/upgrade the plugins? How is the flow (git -> Jenkins -> running Source Connector) supposed to look on-prem?

We use Confluent on Kubernetes which complicates things further.

PS. We are required by law to not use cloud solutions.
