I am currently using Prometheus to monitor my Java-backend with health checks & different counters, it works great!

But, I'm struggling to find information on how I could do the same for my frontend which is written in Angular (TypeScript). Has anyone done something similar before?

I am working on a project where we need to measure and monitor the client VDI (VMware Horizon Client) and check who has logged in on any day.

Is there a way on VMware Horizon Client to do this?

Or Do I need to write some script to achieve this?

I have a web service that serves a front end web application. I log the duration of the http requests in ElasticSearch/Kibana. I also capture exceptions. I have the ability to add monitoring to Grafana by sourcing this data but am not sure what data I should be monitoring. In the past I've monitored for what I mentioned above. Do people have suggestions/best practices for monitoring? 

What data should I be capturing when monitoring my web service?

I've just figured out that kibana alerting, the index threshold rule type does not support chaining rules (Suppose a situation that you want to calculate values from two separate queries and set a condition on the difference of those values)

Setting elasticsearch watcher might be reasonable but it needs subscription :D

I wonder if elastalert package would help us in having alerts on desired query rules? Any idea is appreciated.
