Are there performance differences between Twitter Standard and Academic API?

I am using the Twitter streaming to collect data. I have an acadamic account, however, it is not enough to get all the data I wish too because I have too many words to track. Consequently, I made two requests run on the acadamic track and two on the standard track. Now I am wondering whether there will be a biased outcome if I use the two different tracks. Is the academic track more powerful, therefore resulting in more tweets that can be retrieved or do the functionalities only differ by other aspects, e.g., access to the historical archive.
